Lawrence A. Creeger

Mr. Creeger, founder and president of EventMakers-USA, Inc. began his career in special event management as Vice President of Operations of Aarrow Rent-Alls in 1972. He was responsible for the growth of the local rental company into regional general rental and event group. He developed strategies to enhance the corporate position in the national special event industry, and growing the company from a $300,000 per year rental company to over $3.5 million per year rental and special event group.

Mr. Creeger created a "group business concept" establishing The Aarrow Group in 1978 with separately managed tool & equipment rentals, durable medical equipment rentals and supplies, party and banquet coordination, and national special event management and event production services. He integrated special event coordinating staff into a nationally recognized marketing and sales group and is recognized internationally as one of the founders of the Special Events Industry.  He is in the forefront of the development of computerization of the rental and special event industries and is considered instrumental in the development of the modern day portable skybox. Mr. Creeger was a founding member of the International Special Event Society (ISES).

He founded EventMakers-USA in 1994 to provide special event management and production services without the limitation of an equipment based inventory.  In 1995 EventMakers-USA expanded the company by merging with World Class, Inc. to include a marketing/public relations and sponsorship development division.  In 2002 he established EventMakers-USA, Inc. of Palm Beach, Florida, a multi faceted event management company dedicated to event ownership beginning with the EventMakers-USA proprietary "Spirit of Freedom Exposition Tour and National Constitutional Plaque Program."

 

Richard C. Peyton

Richard Peyton founded World Class, Inc. in 1983 and is currently its president. World Class is now recognized as one of most dynamic full service public relations, marketing, and consulting firms, in the southeast, specializing in all aspects of special event production. The company has been directly responsible for bringing some of the largest and most successful events to the southeast.  In 1995, World Class merged with EventMakers-USA and subsequently with EventMakers-USA, Inc. As Senior Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing of EventMakers-USA, and President of World Class, Inc., Richard oversees all aspects of event marketing and serves as the public relations and marketing arm that drives a critical portion of Global’s event strategy.

World Class has a diverse portfolio of clients and events which include: pre-season NBA games, national soccer championships, music festivals, polo matches, cycling races, Olympic exhibitions, collegiate basketball tournaments and theatrical performances. Notably, World Class is credited with directing all of the special events for Wachovia Bank during its name-change campaigns in both Virginia and South Carolina. World Class is a division of EventMakers-USA and heads up its tennis division.
