This list is an abbreviated resume to exemplify our ability to plan and produce events of varying sizes and content. Additional event accomplishments and references are available upon request.

The Breeders’ Cup – Hallendale, Florida
Determined temporary facility needs based upon accurate computer designs; configured media center to accommodate press and personnel; calculated requirements for lighting, electrical, and portable power; designed interiors to better accommodate budget; designed landscaping of all VIP hospitality areas to facilitate interaction between sponsors and hospitality clientele; assisted in restructuring betting windows to support more bettors. Assist director of operations with evaluation of hospitality, operations, and media; supervise entire site during the racing event.

The Children's Medical Center Classic - Glenn Allen, Virginia
The Children’s Medical Center Classic has been selected as one of fifteen stops of the Celebrity Players Tour (CPT), the nation’s premier professional celebrity golf association featuring over a hundred top-name sports and entertainment celebrities who compete for a minimum purse of $250,000. The tournament also includes a two-day Thursday and Friday Pro-Am with amateur participants competing for grand prizes. Members of the tour include Dan Marino, John Elway, Jerry Rice, Ivan Lendl, Johnny Bench, Dan Quayle, Bryant Gumbel, John Smoltz, Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, Jerry Lucas, Jim McMahon, Mark Rypien, Mario Lemieux, Jack Wagner, The Gatlin Brothers and many more.

Trigon Champions Tennis Tournament – Richmond, Virginia
World Class, Inc acting as the tennis division of EventMakers-USA, owned and operated this tour stop in Richmond, VA. It was responsible for all sponsorship acquisitions, tournament management, hospitality services, oversight of the construction of the 3,000 seat temporary stadium center court and designed the merchandizing areas of “Tournament Village.”

The Dan Marino Celebrity Golf Tournament – Coral Springs, Florida
Provided production and management assistance to all areas of tournament operations; full consulting services provided as ongoing relationship for future tournaments; currently assisting in sponsorship package development and sales.

Olympic Games – Atlanta, Georgia
Designed 14 sites for retailing, merchandising, and hospitality; assisted with sponsorship development and sales; provided all site management and production personnel and confidential consultation to corporate management; established overall operations department with top management responsibilities.

Wachovia Name Change Campaign – Virginia & South Carolina
When Central Fidelity Bank in Virginia and South Carolina National Bank in South Carolina changed their names to Wachovia, World Class, Inc. a division of EventMakers-USA was contracted by Wachovia to develop and implement a marketing plan to produce special events in specific major markets in both states. The objectives were to provide awareness to the new name and present a good public relations image in the new communities. The “Wachovia Name Change Campaign” included such special events as; a country music concert featuring Martina McBride in Myrtle Beach; Wachovia Summer Music Series at Furman University; Wachovia Main Street Jazz Festival in Columbia; Spoleto Festival Finale with Lionel Hampton at Middleton Plantation, SC; Wintergreen Summer Music Festival in Wintergreen, VA and the Norfolk Music Series in Norfolk, VA,. Wachovia has continued to be an annual sponsor of many of these high-profile events.

Woodstock ’94 – Saugerties, New York
Evaluated site requirements necessary for housing 15,000 employees; conceived double deck bed to cut budget requirements by over one million dollars; designed tenting for housing, food services, bathrooms, showers, and hospital facilities; provided all equipment and personnel required for installations of structures, lighting, beds and food service equipment; when festival security, logistical support and site management deteriorated, was contracted by Polygram Diversified to replace existing management of employee village operations and facilities.

The Wintergreen Summer Music Festival – Wintergreen Resort, Virginia
Conceived and created the temporary stage and weatherproof structure for the three-week classical music festival; developed initial budget for festival; developed and marketed sponsorship packages; established hospitality and merchandising packages; instituted advanced ticketing system; provided professional event management staff and supervised volunteers; handled all public relations efforts; assisted with educational outreach program for performance academy; developed and enacted site transportation and housing system for performers and students; provided technical assistance before and during festival.

Clinton Inaugural Reunion on the Mall Celebration – Washington, DC
Consulted with Inaugural committee and site contractor to design four 45,000 square foot tent facilities to accommodate stages, seating for 24,000 and standing room for an additional 24,000 people; provided all equipment and personnel required for installations of structures in 18 day time period; unique appearance and technical achievement made front-page headlines in many papers throughout the country.

Lipton International Tennis Championships – Key Biscayne, Florida
Evaluated sites’ temporary facility needs and provided pricing; calculated requirements for lighting and power; assisted decorating company with additional design recommendations and equipment; designed and decorated title sponsor’s hospitality tent; redesigned 11,000 square foot media center for better flow and facility accommodations; provided media coordinator with logistical support; supplied new layout for 7,500 square foot merchandise facility; assisted food service coordinator and catering company with consultation and equipment; provided overall site management service during event.

The International Dual Driving Championships – Peapack, New Jersey
During site RFP inspection, advised event coordinator of major concerns about existing site design and flow; redesigned site layout, vehicular traffic flow, and sponsorship hospitality areas; reformatted sponsorship packages and replaced hospitality chalets with elevated skyboxes overlooking stadium; conceived and installed suspension tent to cover 3000 bleacher seats 18 rows high; with only six hours notification, increased Prince Philip’s farewell party facility requirements from accommodations for 400 to nearly 1500; provided overall site management during this six-day event.

Davis Cup Ties
Performed site evaluations in San Diego, St. Petersburg, Fort Worth, Fort Myers, and Kansas City for individual tie competitions; developed design layouts for presentation to International event sponsors, the USTA, and opponent countries’ tennis associations; proposed plan for dividing stadiums into seating and hospitality areas while obscuring empty seats that would be visible to a TV audience; assisted with design and production of box seating, VIP seating, and sponsor boxes; provided site management services during events.

The Memorial Tournament – Dublin, Ohio
Redesigned and upgraded existing hospitality by adding features such as functioning doors and windows, lattice fencing, and moveable interior walls for individual "daily tenant" use; assisted marketing staff with design material to enhance selling capacity; consulted with title sponsor and created new hospitality layouts for their needs; provided year-round consulting services.

The U.S. Open Tennis Championships – Flushing Meadows, New York
Greatly increased sponsorship revenues by redesigning and enlarging all hospitality areas; improved ventilation and lighting in skyboxes; identified and replaced certain structures to establish a more aesthetically appealing environment; provided ongoing staff support and consultation for USTA.

The Opening of the George R. Brown Convention CenterHouston, Texas
Developed concept and overall design for International VIP hospitality; determined stage placement and broadcast design; negotiated sound and lighting contracts and determined technical requirements for audience of 500,000; created logistical plan for managing VIP area and surrounding masses of general public attendees; provided overall site management.

Isle of Palms Tennis Invitational – Charleston, South Carolina
The Isle of Palms Tennis Invitational is the first event to be presented as part of this new initiative. This annual tournament featuring Men’s Singles and Doubles takes place in the fall of 2001 and run through 2004 at Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms. The tournament will bring together one of the strongest fields of players in the southeastern United States. Invitations will be extended to select regional players who hold or previously have held a national ranking. Wild card positions will be available for the top ranked college players in the country and a top ranked junior in the southeast. The event will be free and open to the public. The medical University of South Carolina is the official charity of the event and a “Health and Education Drive” will be promoted to encourage all spectators to bring new or used books and new or used tennis equipment which will be given to children who have been treated at the MUSC Children’s Hospital.

BB&T Invitational – Petersburg, Virginia
World Class Marketing has provided sales and marketing services for this annual men’s and women’s professional tennis tournament for ten years. This tournament, which attracts some of the best players on the east coast, includes men’s and women’s singles and doubles and men’s 45’s, 50’s and 55’s singles and doubles. The event benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs of Petersburg and the greater Richmond Area and initiated a new tennis program to introduce the “game of a lifetime’ to the children.

Urbanna Oyster Festival – Urbanna, Virginia
World Class Marketing has been contracted by the Urbanna Oyster Festival to further develop and direct its corporate sponsorship sales and marketing campaign. As part of this effort, World Class Marketing secured a grant from the Virginia Tourism Corporation, the first ever awarded from the agency to the 43-year-old festival. The Festival is considered one of the most popular annual events in the state of Virginia. The 2000 event attracted over 80,000 visitors over the two-day weekend.

The Wintergreen Summer Music Festival – Wintergreen Resort, Virginia
World Class Marketing provided sales and marketing services to the 1998 Wintergreen Summer Musical Festival. U.S. Olympic Team vs. CubaNorfolk, Virginia
World Class Marketing produced this special baseball exhibition for client Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield as part of Trigon’s national sponsorship of the 1996 Summer Olympics. Scheduled the special event and responsible for all corporate sponsorship sales, advertising, public relations and corporate hospitality. Game was played in front of a capacity crowd.
